4THE 0% LONDON DRY STORY
Following the recent turbulent times our co-founder Lukas was on a mission to find a more mindful, balanced and healthier lifestyle. In this quest he discovered meditation and a predominantly plant-based diet, as well as a desire to drink less alcohol to help achieve his new goals.
As a passionate fan and connoisseur of premium spirits, Lukas tried out the existing non-alcoholic spirits on the market but found them to be lacking in the taste and flavours that he loved from an original G&T. Following his new, more mindful, approach to life he was keen to create a drink for the NOVELTEA range that contained no alcohol and reflected lightness, freshness and fruit with strong overtones of juniper and bergamot to give him the best possible G&Tea with none of the alcohol.
When experimenting with removing the alcohol from "The Tale of Earl Grey" he took the opportunity to combine different botanicals at the distillery and the result is NOVELTEA 0% London Dry, a symphony of Mediterranean lightness and British tea culture. A total of 12 botanicals completes this play of aromas, but the undeniable stars of the show are juniper and bergamot.

TASTING NOTES - Dominant juniper notes on the nose, which combine with bergamot especially when exposed to oxygen, the bergamot and the freshness of the lemon gain momentum and complexity. On the palate, refreshing citrus with distinct bergamot notes, a hint of elderflower sweetness and juniper berry. The finish is refreshing, long and presents a melange of bergamot and juniper berry.
BREWING PROCESS - 12 carefully selected botanicals form the basis of the gin, which is produced by pot still distillation and de-alcoholised by rectification. The flavour-giving essential oils obtained from this process are recombined and rounded off with natural aromas and distillates. Before bottling, herbal pungency notes are added to reconstruct the alcoholic pungency.

The ordering and delivery were excellent, I have not tried the drink yet, as I am saving it for Christmas. I can not drink alcohol and I believe this will be a great alternative.
